Breakfast time

So today I went to the zoo. Actually yesterday I went to the zoo also, but came home when it was busting at the seems only 30 minutes after opening.. so I tried again today.
Much better on the crowd front. However rookie mistake 101... I forgot my zoom lens.. arrrgggh. So had to make do with what i had.
Some of the enclosures like this viewing the cheetah were through dirty perspex .. so i did a bit of ETSOOI .. with a little filter that changed the lighting a bit..
Not unhappy with the result of this photo. but I'll have to return again soon, not least to get some better shots with a better lens.. but also because the lions weren't up yet.. and they are such gorgeous creatures.
On the plus side the meerkats were reliably hilarious...
