Lone daisy by brigette

Lone daisy

Just a weed I noticed on my walk after work today. Calotype processing -introduced in 1841 by William Henry Fox Talbot. Using paper coated with silver iodide.
The term calotype comes from the Greek καλός (kalos), "beautiful", and τύπος (tupos), "impression".
(what did we do before google or Wikipedia!)

I like this one, the grass and twigs make for a good frame of the shot. Nice in sepia as well. Feels romantic if that makes sense.a fav for me!

All those chemicals they had the 'joy' to be exposed to in those days! This is lovely, however you achieved it!
