We have these around here, too. I took a couple of photos of one, but just wasn't happy with the background. It overpowered the basket to the point that the basket seemed to disappear. Maybe once things turn green I can get a shot of a golfer in action.
Oooo, a winter league. Yikes! You'd definitely want a colorful disc. I don't think I'd like that at all. If I had a dollar for everytime I told my husband "I hate winter." or "I hate cold." or "I hate snow." I could quit my job and do photography full time! Brrrrr!
