RIP My Old Tree Friend

One more from the scene of the Old Historic Tree, at Osborne Park, destroyed in a recent Storm. Darkened it up with a blurred effect to show my remorse. other pics

Thats a shame - it would have been a fine tree planted 15 years ago! Good to see the stone hasn't been removed!

It is always a shame when trees go. A nice, melancholy shot.

This is great!! Dedications aren't always for humans!! We have an OLD cedar tree in our yard and I would so hate to see it go. How old was the tree? Ours was here when we moved here 37 years ago!! It has given us shade and has been a barrier against dust and noise and it's just plain beautiful!!

@cashew @ninaganci @lilminimonka @pyrrhula @creampuff @ladymagpie @maggiemae @wannabe @tonydebont Thanks all This was the second of two old trees, both over a hundred years old that we lost in recent years, The park will never be the same. The concrete memorial was only put up in 1999! The two old trees have not yet been replaced!
