Grits...It's Whats For Breakfast

Well not really up here in Northern Ohio! I grew up in Virginia though and it made for many a Breakfast! I like mine with Cheddar and Butter with Salt and Pepper. A lot of people like them sweet!

I've only heard of grits on TV and in the movies. Never had it before!

I love my grits with gobs of butter and salt only!!! My husband goes for the cheese, salt and pepper!!! I'm originally from the north (Mn. and AK) so the first time I got grits, I put milk and sugar on mine!! LOL They were so gross!! My husband fell over the table laughing at me and of course so did his entire family!!! These look sooooooooooo good!! Might have to go cook me some up!!! FAV!

Nice shot. Just spent 3 nights in Savannah Ga and regret I didn't get around to grits. I sort of got stuck on biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

Here in the UK we have no idea what "Grits" are! I have only just started eating the occasional bagel.
