Ducks Flying West

I have a hankering to shoot and learn about birds. Shooting them in flight is darn hard. It is going to take a lot of practice and study to improve.
A good variety of movement

@joysabin Thank you! I have a great appreciation for photographers who can capture birds in flight. It is HARD!

Like the way you've left this against the pure white background

I did a technique challenge here on the topic a few years back, have forgotten everything!

@milaniet @kali66 @madamelucy @kjarn @joansmor Thank you. I was told to go to this spot at low tide because the ducks feed in the mud. It was interesting to watch them, collected in families. There were two beautiful Mute Swans that were not shy. I took one picture of a bird that I can't identify and will post it next in case someone can.

@kali66 I am trying to figure out how to set up the camera. One gets lost in the hundreds of menu settings, quite dizzying. For this time I loaded the settings recommended for my camera on naturescape. Google my friend Butch Lombardi. He is an avid bird photographer and conservationist. Butch is guiding me along, a shame we cannot get together in person. He sent me to this spot.
