This osprey was perched on a limb for quite some time. Its nest is a short bit away. I had only a 300mm lens so it is cropped quite a bit. I did not want to disturb it. As I turned to leave, it flew away for a hunt.
@madamelucy@domenicododaro@haskar@kali66 Another osprey nested on top of a barn's chimney in this park. The park admin obtained an environmental permit to remove the nest. Hopefully it has found another place to set up shop....@kali, yes I was focusing on a small point in the screen and cropping (substantial) was required. Luckily, the lens is good, a fixed 300mm.
