Damn this photo is smoking. The original was perfectly okay. I took the photo early this morning when the fog was quite dense and the woman was knocked back that bit more - almost hidden from view. So I increased the contrast, turned it into a duotone (gosh it's been years since I've used this type of effect on a photo) and zoomed in. The result is a much more atmospheric shot. Gloomy. Still. Dark. Sinister. Love it!

Also on a personal matter, Cookie had to stay home from school, which meant that I had to work from home. He cut his foot on a shard of glass from a Plasma Ball that I bought for LL's birthday in December. It broke a week after I bought it for him and the globe smashed into a zillion, sharp dangerous pieces. I thought I'd picked it all up but lo and behold, three weeks later Cookie treads on a piece in the passageway. I truly hope that there isn't any glass that's broken off into his foot as he's hobbling pretty badly.
This is terrific. So full of atmosphere and mystery. Love your title too. Hope Cookie's foot heals quickly. Must have been a very painful experience 😞
@pcarlaw I love scary
@kr57 Thanks. I hope so too.
