So sometimes my photos aren't always going to be interesting. I can accept that as this one is really rather dry, bland and well not much really. I'd like them to be crazy brilliant everyday but it's not going to be like that because: a. I don't have the time and b. my life really isn't that exciting :)
Today was academic review day at my son's secondary school and they thought that they'd close the school for the whole frigging day. Don't they know that people work? I thought I'd got rid of this nonsense when he left primary school but nope, it seems to have followed me like a rancid smell. Gosh it stinks. Luckily I can work from home when situations like this occur but it annoys me no end. Schools are obligated by law to teach the kids for a certain number of days each year. I bet this should be one of them and they closed the bloody school so that you can talk to the teachers for 15 minutes. And d'you know what they said? The same thing that was said back in October as lo and behold, they don't have the up to date levels for year 8s so they went over the same damn thing. I have no idea whether he's progressed from last term or if he's levels have dropped. Why on earth did I bother? In my day it was called Parent's Evening and you guessed it, it was in the evening. After school!
