Caribbean Wood Carving

This statue resides on my front room window sill and has come all the way from an island in the caribbean. Not sure which one as my mum bought it for me when she was on a cruise around the West Indies.

Lazy day today. Watched two films (Sold and The Girl with All the Gifts) and caught up with Scandal which I absolutely love. I really wanted to take a photo of Cookie today but he was having none of it :(

Excellent looking carving. Nicely lit too. Not heard of Sold but what was The Girl With All The Gifts like? Been interested in that one for a while.

@paul10 I enjoyed the film. Reminded me a bit of 28 Days/28 Days Later so it's definitely worth a watch if you like those films. It's just has a different take on it. Sold was about a Nepalese girl trafficked to India. It was okay.
