The Benefits of the Pomegranate

I'm still not 100% sure if I actually like pomegranates. I bought a couple for Little L as he's a real fruit bat but he wasn't keen on them. They're okay with a rich red grape/grapefruit flavour. But I don't like the fact that the seeds are in there. You're constantly spitting them out ... or are you supposed to swallow them?

On reading up on the benefits of this fruit I found out that it's rich in antioxidants and that they have really good health benefits. Apparently they can help to prevent tumours from growing (as they prevent growing tumors from acquiring a blood supply) and they inhibit the production of estrogen - a cause of some breast cancers. It sounds like I should put this high up on my diet.

Its one of my favorite fruit. And I swallow the seeds.

Absolutely, you eat the seeds. Cut it open in a bowl of water, and with your hands, break all the seeds apart under water. They float away from the membranes. It saves you from red juice messes :-) You're right, super healthy!

Hey there yeah the seeds have a nutty flavour and actuallt pretty yummy I find hahaha great picture here, love the placement and the DOF THAT COLOR arghhh perfect red!
