What a beautiful, healthy, over achieving Christmas cactus you have here! I think the flowers are amazing & nice that they last so long.

I am so envious of your Christmas cactus. Mine is so sad and pathetic ever since we moved a year ago. He's not happy in his new surroundings and failed to bloom this year. Hopefully my Easter cactus (who seems pretty happy) will bloom soon. Lovely shot.

I will share a little secret with all of you. They say I have a green thumb but the secret is "egg shell water" I keep the cracked egg shells in a container with water for watering my flowers I have so many large and small plants that I could fill a whole room with them. My plants are just striving and I never fertilize them just the egg shell water does the trick. For instance I have a diffenbachia that we have to trim the trop off every so often it grows like a weed and we always replant the cut off pieces into another pot. I have given away so many of them since I started that plant over 30 years ago.
