It's called Kempenfest because the name comes from Kempenfelt Bay which is at the north end of Lake Simcoe in the City of Barrie while I live at the south end in Keswick, Ontario. this is a yearly 3 day festivities with lots of art and craft booths. Well Known bands play there for our entertainment. I have attended these festivities for years and it is always more interesting than the last time I was there.
oh Bruni! I have attended a few of these myself! FUN! I loved it. I lived in Barrie in the 80's and as a child lived in Lefroy and Belle Ewart. Thanks for bringing back those wonderful memories!
