My son's home 1 by bruni

My son's home 1

When my son Bruce moved from Newmarket to Bobcaygeon to join his Dad as a partner in his saw mill business he bought a 2 acre lot in a nice wooded area and build a log home for him and his family. the picture only shows a part length of the house. when you look at the next picture with the two windows imagine them attached to this picture and you'll have the full lenght of it. Spring 2008 my son build an extension to this home. he moved the kitchen from the 2nd storey and together with a large new diningroom facing the backyard with enough room for a table and 2 armchairs in front of the windows, above he made a pied shape wooden dom with skylights. great place to sit with a drink and a book or just enjoy the anticipation of the turkey dinner (we spend every Thanksgiving and other holidays there) I took these pictures on my grandson's 19th birthday June 29 2008. the heavy set guy in this picture is my husband after he gained so much weight..well Herbal Magic took care of that when he lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks. now he stays pretty much in a range of 5 pounds either way. http://365project.org/bruni/365/2011-11-12

Beautiful home! I wish our power outages were purely a green measure.....but unfortunately they are due to shortage of supply. People in some areas can be without "government electricity" for up to 12 hours per day!! Generators, diesel fuel ,gas cookers, a good stock of candles and battery operated lamps are the norm!
