TWO BUT ONLY ONE

Two can Tango but not in this case. while the grey squirrel was feeding on some sunflower seeds which the birds apparently don't like.. it's a different kind that looks grey instead of black..it would not let the black squirrel get near the plate. it got really obnoxious chasing it away as soon as it came nearer than in this picture. I had fun watching them..to me surprise the grey was not around when Hans refilled the dish this morning and the black one had the seeds all to himself .....

Wow I have never ever seen a black squirrel!! Are these common? Our birds love all types of sunflower seeds but those husks leave a terrible mess! Interesting capture Bruni.

@Cherrill Thank you Cherrill. yes we have grey and black squirrels here. when we were in Germany their were kinda brownish.. to me it looks like the grey ones are more agressive. don't kow what makes it so..

cool! We don't have black ones here. Just grey and "red". Though there is a town a couple hours east of here that has an entire colony of white ones!

I find our black and grey squirrels fight too. They are always chasing each other for the nuts I put out.

We don`t have eigther one in our neighbourhood. I remember them from my Dad`s in Law cottage in Drente ( Nrd part of Holland ), There where many ,but only brown ones. They are cute and impudent.

@msk1p2 Thank you for commenting on my squirrel picture. had to google white squirrels to see one and came across that there is a town here in Ontario called Exiter..they appearently had white squirrels up to 2 years ago...where have they gone?? was an interesting read.
