I guess this is one of the two mourning dove babies we saw up high in a nest of our garden shed the night we got home from our vacation. the next morning when I wanted to take a picture of them the nest was empty....they had flown the coop....except that this one comes back to the driveway at times.
Great shot of the mourning dove! They are so lovely. I think if you put out a feeder, they will stick around. I love hearing their coos first thing in the morning. It's soothing. Sorry I haven't commented in a bit. I have been MIA for reasons I'd rather not mention publicly. This is a great shot, Bruni!
