This church is located in a neighboring town, Sutton, Ontario. I took the picture yesterday on our outing. I would normally give you the history of this church, but we're getting ready to go to a funeral in Toronto, so more pictures and comments will have to wait till tonight.
I'm back to give you some of this church's history.
A gift of 10 acres of cleared land was given by founder James O'Brien Bourchier. he solicited many of his relatives and friends in England for monetary donation. with these donation and hard work of many others, the dream became reality. the corner stone was laid in 1857 and the church opened the door debt free and the first service was held in January of 1858. St. James was consecrated by Bishop Strachan, the first Anglican Bishop of Toronto, in 1862.

So sorry for your loss, Bruni... :( ... About the photo, it's a lovely church. I'm not religious but I love the old churches and the work that went into erecting them. Very nice job capturing it and thanks for the history! :)
