Davis Drive in Newmarket is one of the busiest roads and is presently under construction. actually, construction began in 2009. the road is being widened to make room for a rapidway-bus-only lanes in the centre of the roadway. from what I understand 21 buildings were acquired and demolished to make room. one of the streets required re-alignment in order to put in a 4 way stop. on the North end of the street is what's call the Keith Bridge. it also required widening and is getting a beautiful facelift at the same time. the house you sea at the bottom of the picture was once a hotel and later a real estate office. it was situated very close to the road and instead of demolishing it a houselift company put it back quite a bit furtheron what used to be their back parking lot. it's now facing a side street.
