@cimes1 Carole, I'll look for him, but unless he's on the ground I wouldn't be able to distinguish him from all the others flying around the feeders. we're quite sure he can fly though. thank your for your comment.

I think your sparrow is actually a Dark-eyed Junco. We've had a Titmouse at the feeder who had a similar looking situation with his leg- it was just bent strangely and I thought the same (it must be broken). He could fly quite well though, so I knew he wouldn't become a cat's dinner. Hope your little guy survives. Good collage.
