I tried by bruni

I tried

...but didn't manage to get a clear picture without the reflection of the room behind me. if anyone of you an any idea how to avoid it, please let me know. I took all my pictures with my small pocket size Canon Power Shot A 2400 IS

Nice shot, Bruni! It's really hard sometimes not to get a reflection when shooting through glass. You just need to move around to different angles and hope for the best. Also it's better if there is less light and don't use the flash. But this is a really good shot of the ship. It makes me think of a ship in a bottle. Well done! :)

There's not much you can do about it when its on display like that.

Close the curtains , no lights at all , try different angles and make a timer shot on a tripod.

@pyrrhula good idea, but there were no curtains and I didn't bring a tripod on board ship. different angles maybe. thanks, Ferry for all your comments.
