First try. what do you think. is the flower too small?
This is one of those compositional choices that is totally up to you. It could go larger and it could stay this size. Personally I like it this size and it works in your favor because it's a nice white against the red background. Well done Bruni!

Leaving at this size you could make a note pad out of this design. I love it.

Nice shot, Bruni! I like it this size. The flower against the red background perfectly contrast with each other. The background has texture. Is it a scarf that you laid a small flower on or did you use editing to get the background to look like that? I have never tried minimalist. I have done negative space with a bottle with a face on it. I can't remember if that is in my 1st, 2nd or 3rd year. I'll find it and if it's not already posted, I will repost it to the proper album so you can see. I really like this shot. Well done :) Fave :)

@prttblues First to your question. I kept two red placements from Christmas handy to use for such a picture like this. the flower is from my Irish Shamrock plant.. so glad you like it and nice to see a fav. on this picture. thank you Bev. we're off to meet with our and Ann's (my daughter in law) family for Christmas. I wish you all the best for the Easter Holidays.
