There is always something to look at when sitting at my computer desk. might it be the green garbage trucks on Thursdays, the neighbor with his makeover ambulance or people walking their dogs...you name it. this morning I saw a squirrel having his what looked like toast and the darn birds getting into the flowerpot and picking at the dead flowers so it seems. I found some broken off pieces on the ground. first I thought squirrels were the culprits but I also noticed sparrows going at it. is this a sign of a cold winter ahead? there is enough bird food in the feeders and usually the squirrels pick fallen seeds off the ground. well whatever, it's never a dull moment out there.
