You caught a really good shot of Mr. Cardinal and I like the finished look. Fav! They are very active here at this time of year preparing for mating season. I can never get my birds low enough or to sit still long enough to get a good shot. We have a lot of tall trees around here and they mainly stay toward the tippy top singing away. Once in a while I get lucky and capture one, but very rarely.
@cimes1 Our living area, kitchen, dining room, living room and computer/sun room is 8 stairs up from the ground level, so I'm higher up and looking out of the window, I'm often in eyelevel with the birds on the lower branches of the tree outside. sure makes a difference. Thank you Carole both for your lovely comment and especially for the favorite.
