Lovely detailed shot. A dandelion is a beautiful flower as long as it is not growing in my garden :). Once when my sister was in hospital in Southhampton a foreign lady who was on holiday, was in the same ward and her husband brought her in a big bunch of flowers, and she was thrilled with them and they were dandelions. They had never seen them before.
@shirleybankfarm there we go. is it just a stigma. outside of our garden we do like the flower. and when you think how many beautiful picture we take after it bloomed and is ready to blow the seeds around. I made a collage of a dandelion's life circle once here on 365.
