Sorry for my AWOL since Oct. 21st. today is the first day Hans is home. I spent most of my time keeping him company while he was in the hospital. I never realized how tiring it gets with all the driving. some days I was there in the early morning and late afternoon to evening. on Wednesday, when I drove home in the late afternoon, I made a quick stop at my daughter's house. Grace lives by herself and is on a cruise at present. I checked over everything and it seemed to be ok, but instead of driving home right then and there, I was so tired and had a 1 1/2 hour snooze first, which didn't get me home until after 8 pm as I had to stop at my family doctor for a steroid shot to alleviate some of the pain in my rotary cup. it's so bad that I stay wake at night, or get up way too early in the morning and being tired all day. pain can do that to you.
I'm impressed you managed this lovely shot in the midst of all that busy-ness and pain. It's true what they say about getting older not being for the faint of heart.
Dear Bruni. We both are n`t 21 anymore. I get every day this message from my body. It tells me to slow down. And to take care. Glad to read that Hans is back home again. Wish all the best to the both of you. Great shot of the beautiful sun.
What a beautiful shot, Bruni. So glad that Hans is home. Sorry I have not checked in till now. Glad you are taking the best care of you that you can. I hope you both sleep well now that he is home and both remain well too. FAV
Oh, you are certainly having your share of aches and pains in more than one way! Glad to hear that Hans is home though- that takes a lot of the stress off. Make sure you get enough rest too- 365 will always be here and we certainly understand health comes first!
