On our drives to our son's house in Bobcaygeon we always pass this old cottage which features an antique shop. - ( I photographed it this picture in Bruce's home)- Argyl is a small hamlet in the Kawartha Lakes region which features an old country grocery store, a bakery with a nice place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry before we continue on our way. it also has a fish and chips stand and this interesting antique store, operated out of the cottage huge garage and features whatever your little heart desires. old equipment and machinery, all kinds of odds and ends like glassware, home decorations, wooden carved items and more. apparently in the wintertime they're closed (they depend on the cottage goers in the summer. so from what I read they're manufacturing fur items like trim on skidoo suits and other fashionable winter apparel.
