The last day before we returned home, we took a day excursion and visited a guitar factory and a large cowboy ranch where we spent a lot of time. first we enjoyed a tasty lunch there and later had the pleasure of seeing a rodeo, but today, I'll tell you about the guitar factory we visited in the morning. the violins and guitars are all handmade, they use no machinery whatsoever. we were told they only produce 5 violins per month. btw this one of 9 guitar manufacturers in all of Cuba, but the only factory where they make violins. they produce 5 of them per month. one of the violins is made for professional use and the other four are made in various sizes for school children and young adults. none are made for export. the guitars come in various sizes from small once for school children and larger ones for adults. the tiny guitars you see in the bottom right picture are made and sold as souvenirs. I bought a small one to take home.
