I saw this on facebook today. Here is what my granddaughter, Shayelynne wrote:
It's been 1 month and 13 days since I had to say goodbye. I must admit it was easier to do than I expected knowing you're pain free and happy now, yet I still look at your empty stall and have the occasional breakdown.
You showed me the real bond a horse and rider can have. Every rider gets that one horse that completely changes his/her life. I was fortunately enough to experience this with you early in my life. Although the pain gets easier to bare, it never goes away but lingers on.
I'm so happy I got to be your "mommy" the last few years of your life and will forever remember
you. "love".
What a sad happening to a young person! She will never be forgotten but there might be a new horse in her life that is completely different from Georgia!
Ina send you a Big thanks and greetings.
