My daughter, Grace and I took our annual trip around Christmas time yesterday to visit the Eaton Centre to see the Swarowski Christmas tree. (pictures to follow). when we entered the store and almost ran past the cosmetic area (we're both sensitive to smells) we arrived at the shoe department. I always check if they have shoes on sale. omg. they did. the prices were in the thousands of dollars. mind you they were designer shoes and some were on reduced shelves for a few hundred dollars less. what ungodly prices. forget about looking at other merchandise, we thought and made a quick exit.
has it always been this way with the prices and shopping? i saw a post for a new mall in England where all the stores are very high end - if you have to ask the price, you should not be shopping there. how can this be? it is going to be a very expensive holiday and we are very conservative about buying gifts - we all have so much already, but still, the grandkids and kids have things under the tree and it adds up - just like they do.
The price you pay for something depens on : where and what date you buy it .
Gladly Ina do n`t dare to wear it if it is that expensive.
Great shot of the shops interior.
Hi Bruni, Ian talk me that he called you and you are not too far away from each other. This sounds very encouraging. The person who is able to help Ian has not called him, Is there a way that you can make it happen sooner as Ian is not in a very good shape right now. Sorry for disturbing and many thanks. Yao
@yaorenliu Sorry, I will call our friend again in a little while (too early in the morning right now). you're not disturbing me at all. so glad you look after Ian.
