Climbing roses by bruni

Climbing roses

I didn't realize our climbing roses go way back before 2010. I started this program in January of that year.

The first pic is from 24 Oct 2010. a few years later they were infiltrated with bugs,so Hans started from scratch by cutting the roses down to their roots.

The second pic was taken July 3rd this year. original we planted 3 different coloured plants and one stock rose. (we thought it was a climber as well. what a surprise) I can't find a picture of it at the moment though.

The one on the right shows the roses slowly filling in.
Sorry, I don't have a picture of when the strings were covered with roses. All have wilted by now. they had their glory in the sun.

ps. the roses reach up 13 feet from the ground way below the deck to the overhanging roof.
A lovely collage

So pretty and beloved. It's good to know that if you downsize, you can have roses wherever you go!

How pretty- when it's full of roses, it must look quite glorious.
