Hans was looking through some old files on his computer. he likes to reminisce and brought this picture to my attention.
All three of us lived in Hamburg, Germany. I immigrated first. and my two friends followed me a few years later. to my right is Ute, one year younger and to my left, Marlen, two years older than I. Marlen lives in New Jersey in the US and Ute is in a retirement home in Ottawa, Canada. this picture was taken at the Fire and Ice Restaurant here in Toronto
