Hans and I were enjoying a nice coffee this afternoon and watching mom sparrow flying back and forth feeding the babies. She's not quite used to us sitting sitting on the deck and so it took her some getting us to us being there.
The first baby made quite a raucous wanting to be fed. we watched as mom feed it a few times and than backed up a bit and the baby came almost out of the nest , mom flew away and baby loud mouth follwed. it happened so fast that I didn't get a picture of it.
There's no doubt as to who is going to get this food! What about the ones behind that this belligerent youngest is almost sitting on! Would have fun to see!
@maggiemae We watched the feedings. mother bird was almost sticking her upper body into the nest to feed the other one and maybe, who knows, there might be a third one down there still. will keep our eyes open. thanks for commenting, so much appreciated.
