Rigging climbing on a Tall Ship

Coming back to the Tall Ships.
I was surprised to see people climbing up the riggings of this Tall Ship. I wouldn't dare and I'm originally from the Waterkant.

Nice capture. No way that I would climb the rigging, they would probably make me walk the plank back in the old days.
Way back when they used tall ships all the time, the sailors had to climb the rigging in all kinds of weather and conditions.
