An unknown flower in our garden

Because we have quite a few of these flowers in our garden I picked one for the kitchen window.

I noticed it has quite a few bud clusters and when nighttime came, the flower closed
up and then this morning it opened up again.

That is spiderwort. We have that all over our yard. I love them. They are prolific bloomers.
