This is a reflection or refraction...whatever, not too sure.
This is what showed up on our neigbour's roof.
it was sundown and the sun light traveled from our living room window through into the kitchen and through the kitchen window onto his roof. (about 20 ft)
I'm going to use this picture for the half and half.
Good question- might be both, but I'm leaning towards refraction because the light it passing through something and not bouncing off it. Anyway 20ft of travel is very impressive and the color makes the roof look like it's on fire. Good catch!
