Lush greens and a dead tree

I was so sorry to see this tree being all brown. to the left of it is another one like it (I only got a bit shadow in the frame) but that one was nice and green. I called them twins. in the back is where we go in to get to the walking path.

For a moment it looked like autumn, pity it has died where the rest is so lush.

Poor tree. Lovely shot, though.

Such a shame! But it makes for great contrast to the lush greens.

I wonder what killed it. Down here, there is an invasive beetle.

Ah what a shame, it does make a lovely contrast against all the healthy green trees though.
