...so to speak. last time on our outing Grace and I had to climb over a high snow bank to get into the park. we parked my car on a side road as the main entrance to the park was covered in a high wall of snow.
When we saw the two different vehicles stuck in the park....I guess the owners were enjoying the new snow and when they got back to theirs vehicles, the snowplow had been by. on the opposite side of the road are houses and so all the snow was plowed towards the park. the walkways inside of the park were plowed and it was easy walking.
Weather forecast: at 5 am this morning (Hans was up that early) it was -20 Celsius, bitter cold but sunny when I got up,
Of interest:
Remember when covid started and everyone fought over getting toilet paper....yes, sounds familiar! well the store shelves are getting empty in general as lots of ordered merchandise isn't coming in. it's said that a lot of transport trucks were stuck on highway 401 and other highways during Monday's snowstorm.
A delightful collage telling the story , So now it is the weather that disrupts merchandise in the shops ! -- Ooh for some normality -- at least the weather can only get better !
@beryl Thank you Beryl. Yes some people were stuck in their cars for ove 8 hours. there're so many news report and videos to watch, it's frightening how many tractor trailers were ramming into each other pushing cars of the road etc.
