Great shot- I keep trying to capture the red kites, but they persist in gliding further away everytime I get the camera out! I take my hat off to you getting both the kite and the moon so well in the same frame

have been trying for months, they always fly off. This time I saw one close up, zoomed in and tracked in for a few mins before it got to the moon. This is straight out of the camera.

Yes you're right - it's marvellous massive!! We have a red kite flying around here recently, been trying to catch a shot of him... if I could get him And the moon I'd be over the moon too. Wonderful!

Thanks Linda and Phil, I have taken 1,00's of photos of them and I think out of every couple of hundred, I get one I like. To get two in the same night was very exciting..
