Two Red Kites

So last night (8th April), as the sun was going down the front of the house we had around eight Red Kites, flying over our back garden.
As the sun was low, and the sky had finally cleared, this proved to be the best time to capture them (is you can track them quick enough).

This shot is genuinely Straight Out Of Camera (SOOC) and was just two of the eight.

So lovely to see them - they were obviously going home to roost. its wonderful to see a tree full of kites - they are often in large communities at this time of the year. Isn't it exciting to see them so close!!
