Adorable!!! There was a book in my preschool classroom that the children made me read over and over called Fred and Ted.Fred was BIG and Ted was little.These two are the real Fred and Ted!
Yasmin – chocolate lab aged 8 years, she was puppy walked but didn’t make the grade. Guide dogs tend to use only black and yellow labs, chocolates are like a different breed altogether, so she was an experiment to try to widen the gene pool and bring in new stock. She stayed on as a pet but is great for fund raising events and mothers the young pups when they arrive. Never barks, or bites just very docile and the friendliest dog on the planet.
Fergus – black lab / retriever cross, you can see already that the ears are a bit fluffy. He’s now eight weeks old and is already getting out an about, training starts at seven weeks wit the pups. Dry and clean at night but we still have the occasional accident. Specifically bred by the association and his five brothers and sisters are also being puppy walked.
@bulldog Bravo for them- I always wanted to train a seeing-eye dog but in the years I could have done it, we rented and most places were "no pets". Oh well...
