Great Crested Grebes

These are the largest grebes in Europe and once killed for their feathers, their population was devastated back in the Victorian times.Thanks to conservation measures, numbers have since greatly increased.
These grebes are well known for their elaborate courtship displays and I am going to need a bigger lens next time.
