I was stuck with this today, first I walked the dogs over the park, to get a photo of the warm October leaves, but for got my camera.
Then I thought about a photo of my lovely Sunday lunch, but Mrs Bulldog hasn't cooked yet and I am hoping its hot, not just warm.
So I remembered that my son brought this lovely blue gonk thing back from Austin, Texas. He is a little squidgy thing and when your fingers 'warm' his belly (or any part of him), his blue bits go lighter.
Oh he is very cute. He'll probably be sneaking into your sock draw before long to live with all the bots and little people in there :) Oh and I hope Mrs Bulldog is out getting a manicure and pedicure rather than staying home and cooking your Sunday lunch :)
Your 'children' obviously pander to your 'youthful' leanings!! I was stuck today, was going to photograph a quiche I made for a girlfriend but we ate it before I remembered, Mr Bulldog YOU have come up trumps here....enjoy your 'hot' dinner!!
He's rather a sweetie, with his happy smile and welcoming arms. He seems a very warm little character and I like him a lot. I think he would be a very good influence in the sock drawer.
I remember gonks first time around - used to make them.
Super cute capture. He's looking very happy - has he been at the Quality Street to warm his tummy bits?
Thank you all so much, to give a quick update and to answer a few of your questions...
- My boys are fully aware of my βyouthfulβ nature, I am not only their father, but I was their Scout leader for a number of years. (Shame about the Quiche shot Fanny).
- As far as the Blue-Gonk thing, I would like to confirm that his shocked hair style was caused by his initial look in the sock draw and NOT because I was touching his βspecialβ blue bits.
- After the photo shoot, I settled down to a wonderful Sunday Roast that Mrs Bulldog had cooked and as predicted, it was hot not warm.
- Unfortunately I forgot about Blue-Gonk, who quickly polished off the whole tin of Quality Street the headed off to the sock draw, with a happy smile, welcoming arms and warm bits.
Well, after visiting Boston this summer and coming home with a pink plastic pig wearing and swimming tube as a souvenir (because she'd be sooooo cute to photograph for 365), I was seriously wondering if I'd developed some sort of psychological issues. But if your son brought you a Blue Gonk from Texas as a traveling gift for you, then I'm ok.
