There's a dark cloud over Tring today, well Pitstone Mill to be precised...
Still it could be worse, I could have been made redundant today, oh hang on....
That is a beautiful, beautiful image, Graham. Fav'd
I'm so very sorry it is such a difficult time for you, though. Thinking of you and your family and wishing you all the very best. Hugs.
Lovely shot - I'm a strong believer that out of something bad, something good always happens so keep your chin up. Maybe there's something better around the corner
lol...it's a fine shot! I hope you still have a job to go to....but if not...take more pictures! How could they not want someone with your creativity and imagination!
Lovely shot Bulldog but sorry to hear of your problems. I agree with Rosie and often something good comes from something bad. We all have our fingers crossed for you.
At this point in time that doesn't sound great, but a man of your calibre, creativity and imagination is destined for better things, let's really believe that. Symbolic photo for the word of the day.
Good morning world, it's a brand new day.... I am sorry, I posted and ran last night but I thank you all for your kind comments and thoughts..
Today is the start of my new life, the company I work for has made the decision that they do not need a marketing department or a any systems to manage the relationships they have with customers going forward and my last day with them will be the 21st Nov.
So that's that, thank you all for your support and friendship, I look forward to the challenges ahead, promise not to whinge on (there are people on this earth in a worse position than me) and I promise to keep my head high and my camera & bits out...
...so you pressed the back button last night and took the dogs out for a drink then?! Best of luck to you, howon earth any company imagines they can do without a marketing dept beats me but am sure something even better will come up for you and your creativity.......a dark cloud and a great landscape though!!
Well Bulldog at least you now know what you are dealing with and can make your plans. ( It's very short notice you have got.) Great that you can think of it as the start of a new life and I'm sending good vibes and good wishes for a different and bright future.
Bulldog mate, that is genuinely crap news. The banter on here sustains us,but when one of us has bad news it feels like we all do. I'm a marketeer by trade, though started work for myself 9 years ago after the company I worked for went bust. Could it be time to dust off the "Big book of Bulldog ideas" and go it alone? Whatever the case, I wish you and your family well, and hope that you find something soon.
@gphelps5 Oh shoot.... I'm so sorry to hear that mate. Sounds like you've got the right attitude, and remember the phrase 'your biggest problem is your biggest opportunity'. I know lots of little phrases like that and can bore you for hours with them... chin up chuck :)
