Your 'B' was one of mine last year - and I'm pleased to say I fulfilled it - it's really about practice but I had a mate spend a couple of hours showing me the basics. Happy to share what I learned, so if I can help, just shout.
my trouble is I don't choose automatic - I try manual, select a setting then find that the camera has changed it when I take the photo. It is only a bridge camera so can't expect too much. Great book there!
Yes, B is definitely one of mine too! My biggest problem is having to wear reading glasses to see what I am doing and I don't generally wear them when out walking Bertie - I've got to train myself to take them with me alongside lead, harness, camera, stick, ball thrower, balls, phone . . .
don't get C?? Manual is just practice and understanding the camera. trial and error. I forgot the challenge so may start from tomorrow. thanks for doing it again, it really helps.
Well good for you...........I always break mine so easier to give up before I start!! defeatist?!! moi ? :)) What are you doing with the sea? swimming the channel?
So you dont have many bad habits then if that is your list and cant even think of c)! Lucky you :) Nice ideas backed up beautifully with your lovely glossy brochures! Good luck
I have worked really hard to try and not shoot automatic. Sometimes when I am taking a group shot and I am worried about making people wait too long I just chane to automatic. Good luck with "a".
Fantastic capture of your goals for 2013. I think you will ace them :) Best wishes for 2013 to you and Mrs Bulldog. Thanks for the list, will be having a go at it for sure!!
I think that these two books will help you get a long way! And with the dog walkers book, you will get the opportunity to find more places to photograph!
Lol... best of luck!!! I'll definitely recommend taking the step of moving off automatic mode... a little frustrating to begin with, but well worth the effort!!!
(I've never watched Black Adder... but my brother has, and he never stops quoting that line!!!)
Good luck with your resolutions ...mine is to be healthier & fitter, l will have to switch to swimming as l have fractured a bone in my foot and walking is out for a bit!!
