Mar 31: Easter - Cross

Happy Easter 365
Todays shot is of Mrs B's crucifix but I just can't decide which version I prefer?
I was trying to get a black background and some light on the cross. This is version one and version two is here: http://365project.org/bulldog/365-additions/2013-03-31

I prefer this one! There was a bit too much light on the cross on the other one, here you have the suggestion of the cross, which, in my opinion, makes for a more powerful and interesting image. Love the lighting here.

This is a good shot but I prefer the other because in the other the cross looks more special.

Actually, from a photographic viewpoint, the low key here is excellent. Perhaps aesthetically it has a more sombre feel to it which is why we're preferring the sparkly one today?

This is nice low key. It is fitting to Good Friday...the other brighter is great too and fitting to the bright promise of Easter Sunday!

I think I prefer this one. The low key works well to convey the sombreness associated with the crucifixion, I think.
