So I have been up in Scotlandshire since Boxing day and I now need to catch up.
On the way 'Up North' we had to divert off the Motorway and through a place called Middlewich in Northshire, lucky for me, I noticed these in the distance and forced Mrs B (who was driving) to pull over.
Although there were a lot more swans both swimming and on the bank, technically there are only seven 'a-swimming' in front of the natural line drawn by some other birds.
Super shot and very clever Bulldog to point out "The seven " in front of the line of "ducks " Love the reflection of the blue sky on the water and the V's on the wake of their swim !!
Seven geese a swimming, six days till New year! five birds in line, three dogs a barking, two Bulldogs a driving, .....and a partridge in a pear tree! Beautiful water as well as the swans!
