This was quite a surprise to see as neither Mrs B or myself remember seeing an Acorn this young and fluffy. The trees were full of them and the green on the shell was like sea-weed.
A brilliant shot with a great background and an unusual find. I have been unable to find an acorn so far but my search continues It must be a bad year around here because there was none on the oak trees or under them.
This is a beautiful composition with the shades of green and the contrast of hard concrete/stone, softer water, and soft green in the acorn, grasses and trees.
Have never seen this either and my backyard at times is full of acorns
