Jan 29: One

You would not believe how difficult it is to pop onto a platform to take a shot. I saw a train guard who looked important and I asked him if I could pop onto the platform to take this shot and he said he could not allow it due to health and safty and because I have no ticket I would be breaking the law.
Not to be detired, I asked for his manager and I was sent to the stations supervisers office where I met I nice lady who took me through the rules of the station and pointed out that although she could give me permission, I would be watched and I was not allowed to use a tripod or anything like that (as if I had one on me during my lunchtime walk).
Anyway, I got the shot I wanted for todays word "One" and here is an alternative shot from the other end of platform one.
Great photo, your determination payed off!

Nice clean and focused photo with hardly any people! Good colour contrasts and the distance to the light at the end is nicely captured! Apart from all that good for you for persevering! fav

You really went above and beyond for this capture. Great one.

I like the fact there is only one person in shot.

Well done to you!

Great photo! One person, one train, on Platform 1. I had a similar incident in a train station a while back.

The no.1 sign is the first thing I saw it really stands out and great to get 1 train and 1 passenger as well. You can twist the ladies around your little finger with your charm it seems.

The things we do to get a photo. Don't you just hate the 'jobsworth police'.

Nicely composed and focused shot!
