Another thing we saw while in Scotlandshire was some lovely jewellery, mage from coloured and compressed heather.
The finished product is highly polished and looks like a Gem Stone.
These are a couple of end cuttings from the compressed blocks and although they sell these are ornaments, I am going to have a go at making pens from them.
