Old Favourite

After seeing yesterdays shots from my sons graduation I think I have to admit that my Nikon Coolpix S9900 desperately need some re-calibration.
I have seen for a while that the images are not as clear as they should be and a few days ago I ordered a new charger and pc cable for my old favourite, the Sony Cybershot.
I have to say, I think it's time to upgrade, any suggestions?

Since you enjoy your photography and take photos every day is say , go for a dslr you won't look back.

I agree, a dslr. I'm somewhat in the same boat, trying to decide on an upgrade.

No idea, I'm still using a compact on auto or my phone :)
